Last weekend we drove out to the Yakima Indian Reservation where Jose was invited to preach to a Spanish-speaking congregation. We didn't even feel the three hours pass by as we drove out there - it was so beautiful! Makes me want to stay in this part of the country, despite Jose's pull towards Texas...

beautiful! why does Jose want to go to Tx?
More opportunities for ministry w/ Spanish speakers, more job possibilities, cheaper living, and he knows a few people at my home church, and one of his former Bible school profs lives in Mesquite...

He wants to come to Texas....? Really...?
you sound so surprised, Glenna. :)
and how come no one else likes slinky nighties!?
Kari, I am surprised. I can't see, for the life of me, wanting to live in Texas. I mean, there are a few things about Texas I like, but I wouldn't move here just for them ya know.
Oh, and where did the slinky nighties come into it?
slinky nighties: the poll --ther's nowhere to comment on the polls, so you gotta do in other random places. :)
LOL, oh, ok. I like slinky nighties, just not to sleep in ;) . I worry too much about being woken up in the middle of the night by kids.
Funny, I didn't imagine this to go on as a slinky nightie conversation, but aint it grand? I do so adore pajamas of all kinds! Slinky nighties...Hmmm..so that was YOU Kari! I was wondering who it was...! Yay for Chris. Jose calls my pajamas "rags". :) He WISHES I were the slinky nightie person! Ha! But like Glenna, I want to SLEEP when I go to bed!
And yeah...I don't know about Texas...no offense. I suppose there still are some friends there (like some of you), but also many memories I'm trying to erase! And yeah, not to mention the weather and the terrain! Ugh! I could do East Texas maybe, or some place fun like San Antone! :)
