Nope! And maybe?

Monday was a crazy hectic stressful day as we crunched numbers (or perhaps the numbers crunched us!) and as I spent most the day on the phone weighing pros and cons of putting an offer on a lovely house, and talking many details with two different agents. Monday night we received a call from our agent to tell us that the sellers did not chose our offer. Since then I can tell you honestly I have been washed over by peace! God has brought many verses to mind, such as Isaiah 55 quoted in the previous post, along with this verse:

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You(!!!) Isaiah 26:3

I am so thankful that God closed that door! Uncertainty is no fun, I'm sure we all can attest to that! We humans want to know what tomorrow will bring, and we want to know now! :) Good thing it's not like that. When would we ever experience peace by trusting?!

Today we saw another house, and are putting an offer on it. It may or may not come through, but with this one, somehow it's different. I feel calm, peace, even excitement. Jose said that when he saw the listing, he felt that this was our new home. Now we may get this house, we may not. But God will still be God over us!
