I thought I'd never want a minivan. Well, I thought I'd always be skinny and tan, too. So I've changed. I am not skinny, nor tan, and I do want a minivan. :) Just in case the family were to expand (NO, I'm NOT saying anything!) and also for the frequent carpooling and occasional visitors from out of town with their kiddos, a lovely minivan would be just so very lovely and convenient. So yesterday we looked at a 2000 Odyssey out of our budget, and today a 2000 Mazda MPV that's within our budget (trading in our Honda Accord) - dragging along the very excited children ("Mommy is that our mimivan?") and the very unexcited husband. And after consulting with some wise and knowledgeable friends, and talking at lengths with the salesman, a good deal has been offered. However. Not all of us think that a minivan is convenient. Some of us think we should keep the Accord until we run it into the ground, ourselves perish, or Christ returns. So here I am. Praying for God's best for us, wishing for this pretty good deal.

Maybe you should just take the money and blow it all on hats.
I remember saying the same things about getting a pick up truck. Now, I can't imagine not having my Ford F150. Times do change don't they :)
