What am I?

I was filling out kindergarten registration papers for my babykins and got to the "race" question. It says - check one: Asian, Caucasian/White, African/American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian, Pacific Islander. You see my dilemma. There's no box for "cafe con leche" babies like mine! Races have been intermarrying and producing gorgeous babies for eons now and I think it's about time they change it to say "check all that apply"!!! Come on, people, update your forms! :)

for real!! I always check "other."

We have to fill out forms like that at the hospital for the kids' birth certificates when they're born & i always hate it. When Zachy was born, I checked "white" or something. But the lady who took the forms looked it over & noticed that i was born in Mexico. So she asked if it was okay if she changed his "classification" to hispanic. I said, "sure." Got a kick out of that, since my most blonde-haired blue-eyed child is classified as hispanic. hee hee. :)... who knows, maybe he'll get a scholarship or something, since he's a "minority." ;)
