We told the girls our happy news of a new sibbling the other day, in honor of Rebekah's birthday. They were very excited but also quite distracted with the new birthday presents. However since then, they've had some time to think about it and I am now under the beginnings of a question attack. Here are some examples: "Can you still breathe when there's a baby in your tummy?"
"Does the baby get all yucky with the food that you eat?"
"Are you breathing now?"
"Can I listen to the baby?"
"Does the baby move?"
"What's it's name?"
And many more! This afternoon I subjected myself to toy stethoscopes on my flabby belly. Truly this is a very difficult stage, wardrobely speaking. I can pretty much honestly say "I have nothing to wear!" My girls are true angels as they were quick to offer to wash dishes and "do all the work and cook all the food" so I could sit down and rest! I told them that for now they can start helping me, and later on I'll need them to help more, and thanks for offering!

aw! how fun! :)
How sweet!! I'm surprised they haven't asked where the baby came from yet. ;)
i'm so excited for you... :)
Yeah thankfully they haven't thought too hard about how the baby got there! Lol! At this point they're happy with "God makes babies grow!" :)
