So last week we start to get some winter weather. It was new, it was exciting, schools closed at a few flakes of snow! That was a week ago. Over the weekend we got the REAL winter weather, the REAL "arctic blast!" that the tv reporters were freaking over when a snowflake danced from the sky. Now I have cabin fever and would just like to get to Walmart at least! But first we'll have to dig our car out and pry the frozen doors open. We're just thankful we live literally in front of the church, so getting there yesterday was just a matter of bundling up and crossing the street -with the added adventure of trying not to slip.
Last week, when the weathermen were in a frenzy...this is our house with a few snowflakes dusting the landscape...
I let the girls play in it, tho there was barely enough for a small snowball!
Then the real snow and ice started to come...
Our walk to church was very crunchy!
Out our window this morning...now that staying inside and being cozy is getting a bit old!
