I would update my blog but...

...I'm tired now and just need to crash in front of the tv with some pancakes I made for dinner topped with this awesome marionberry syrup I got over the weekend. Would you like some? Hey, and while I'm not updating my blog, how was everyone's Thanksgiving? Ours was lovely. I played Dutch Blitz with my newly adopted cousins from the Philippines and got them hooked on the addictive game! Saturday we drove out with my folks to a teensy place called Zig Zag. Aint it great?! Wouldn't you love to say you lived in Zig Zag?! There's this rustic pizza place, and then a really gorgeous walking trail along a river that comes out of Mt. Hood, then the Oregon Candy Farm where they make all their candy right there yessiree, then to the Wasson Brothers Winery to do a little tasting and a little purchasing! What a lovely day. I bought a red raspberry wine but will have to save it until I have someone to share it with otherwise it's no fun. Oh, and then we put up our tree and today we decorated it. So exciting! I could listen to Christmas music all year...Has anyone else put up their tree yet too?

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving and visited some fun places :)

Oh, and no tree here yet, gotta wait till Christmas eve...it's tradition (seriously, we decided that last year :) )

i know! love the coat. :)

started decorating, but haven't done the tree yet... we'll see.

& i just cannot understand putting up your tree on christmas eve! all that work, just to take it down again in a couple days? i don't mind decorating, but i *hate* un-decorating. So if i'm gonna go through the effort to decorate, it had better last awhile. that's why i decorate as early as possible... and that's also why i don't do any other holiday decor.

Thanks on the coat! Old Navy, present from Jose last year. Only he cheated and used my sister to buy it for me. Oh well. Still love it!

Yeah...I adore having the tree up and lit. I sit there sipping my coffee or hot chocolate and it's like a warm fuzzy on the inside. :)

I dont have much other deco up either. It is a lot of work to take down...

so, like everyone else, i have to say how cute your coat is. :) AND i have to add, WHAT on earth are you doing so cute and skinny after two kids?!?!?! HONESTLY! i am working my tail off trying to get my figure back after Nicholas, and he's almost two. UGH. :)
you look beautiful. what is up with all my friends being so cute and skinny? and YES kari i'm talking about you, too! and Glenna, i haven't seen you in awhile, but i'm sure i'm fussing at you, also. HONESTLY!

Ha! Glad I could fool you! Please notice my coat is conveniently covering up my post-baby belly (of three years, mind you), I have my face turned just-so, and it's a tall picture! All to say, it's an illusion! Why do you think I chose that particular picture?! Hahahahaha!

Good thing we don't have to impress each other anymore now that we're not in high school. :) I love you all WITH the flab, gray hairs, and wrinkles (not necessarily on the face) that time deals us!

And good for you, working your tail off! I have a very hard time getting up and exercising or eating right. I usually just say, "sighh...pass me another donut..."!
