The "Tag": 7 Things People Might Not Know about Me

So Traci (a dear local friend...see blog link on right...) "tagged" me and I'm not quite sure what that's all about, since I still have one foot in the dark ages, but I think I'm supposed to list seven things people might not know about me, and then tag somebody else to answer the same question. So, consider all of yourselves tagged now! Ha!

Hm. So seven things a total stranger doesn't know about me is perfectly easy to answer, but I'm assuming it's not talking about a total stranger. So I may or may not come up with seven!

1. When I was born my tongue was attached to the bottom of my mouth and they had to clip it so I wouldnt' talk funny. Well, some may think I talk funny anyway. For proof of the tongue thing I have a tiny white scar on the tip of my tongue.

2. I want to tour the U.S. in an rv when I retire...see all the famous things I've never seen before.

3. One of my most favorite and happy moments was not too long ago...when my sister was here and surprised me by taking me to the musical Mama Mía...hearing and seeing them perform "Dancing Queen" and wanting with all my might to run up on stage and dance with them...

4. I adore fleece pajamas and house slippers.

5. I had no problem singing in front of about 100 people in Honduras but now that I'm back it would take a whole lot to do something like that again. From giving women's devotions to a large group and being in the church's public eye for 6 years now I feel like being shy again.

6. The toes on my right foot are all different lengths and it looks really wierd.

7. One time in Honduras I was in the kitchen before a big church dinner and I unfolded the towel containing all the tortillas and a mouse jumped out and ran up my arm, then jumped to the floor and ran off. I swallowed a scream. And then I went through the tortillas and threw away the ones that had been taste-tested by aforementioned furry friend and never said a word of it to anyone at the dinner.

WOW, i just read all your blogs from the last few days. i'm tired just reading them!!! :) all those cookies...yikes, you had to be exhausted! and then the baby shower, and then packing everything up to mail...and then thinking about Christmas cards. whew. well, all very cool...and very smart idea about the jello! i would never have thought of that.
and the video of the girls is great! made me laugh! especially the way your littlest one (i can't remember her name and i'm too lazy to go back and look it up - isn't that terrible?!?!?!) kept stopping when the other was in the middle of her performance. :) so cute! what fun sisters!!!

yeah apparently I'm blogging like feast or famine! :) I did like 3 in one night. I needed to chat with somebody, and that was the closest I could get.:)

Isabella, she's such a prankster and loves to aggravate her sister!

And yeah, it was HARD to come up with 7 things people might not know about me...I'm sure there's much more...but I can't think of them!

so fun to know these little tidbits!! Zachy was tongue-tied, too. The dr. said we didn't need to cut it, b/c it would stretch as time went on. My 9 y/o neice is the same. But we cut Zachy's last summer, cuz the dentist said it was pulling his gums off of his teeth. gotta run! Chloe's screaming

Oooo sorry Zachy had to have his cut as a big boy! Hopefully it didn't hurt too bad! Hey guys, now it's your turn to come up with things! At least five?? You know, in all your free time...

Both Norah and Lucy were tongue tied. I've never heard the "it will stretch out" line before. One Dr. said she would rather just let Norah deal with it and get speech therapy later. I switched doctors.

My mom and my nephew were tongue tied too.

Sounds like a good group to be a part of. : )
